ABOUT ROD
With over 25 years of successful experience coaching interview skills to job seekers, Rod’s work experience includes over 35 years in the public sector, previous owner of 4 retail stores and a vast amount of experience in interviewing and testing candidates.
Rod brings to any project, a background rich in progressive management, leadership, organizational development and team building. He has established an outstanding reputation with stakeholders, political groups, public and private organizations, and local communities. He has a track record of successful and well-organized project and project management, and brings strong planning, organizational and analytical skills to any position. He has authored or co-authored over 30 planning documents for various agencies, has published two research papers and is well seasoned in Interest Based Negotiations.
On a personal note, Mr. Buchanan is an active member of his community. He loves to teach and previously was a faculty member and instructor for University of Phoenix where he taught all business classes, public speaking and ethics.
He is a rated instructor in many areas and has instructed snow skiing; snowboarding; windsurfing; fly-fishing, and sailing to people of all ages. He also holds a pilot license.
